SERVICING

As well as regular tuning, pianos benefit from periodic servicing.  The action parts of the piano suffer wear through play and are also affected by variations in humidity and modern central heating.

We can undertake varying levels of servicing to suit your requirements and your piano’s potential.  These include:

• Basic servicing to fix minor issues you have identified with your piano’s playability

• More involved servicing to help improve your piano’s sensitivity, dynamic range and tone

• Full servicing, involving fine regulation of the action and voicing of the piano, to maximise the responsiveness of the keyboard, expressive capabilities of the action and overall tone of the instrument

Please call to make an enquiry.  We will speak with you to ascertain the most appropriate level of servicing for your particular piano.  Often the best way for us to judge this is to tune the piano as the tuning process gives a good indication of further improvements that could be made to the piano.
