Your piano should be tuned every 6 months to keep it in its best possible condition. The pitch of the instrument will naturally slip over time. Leaving a longer gap between tunings means that the pitch of the piano will have to be pulled up further when tuned. This is a potentially more involved, and therefore costly, process and the resulting tuning of the piano may be less stable than would otherwise have been the case. That said, don’t be embarrassed if your piano hasn’t been tuned for a while. Our technicians regularly encounter pianos in need of some TLC!

The basic fee for a straight-forward tuning is £95.
If additional work is required or recommended, the tuner/technician will speak to you before undertaking any such work and will provide a cost estimate.

We tune pianos all over Wiltshire and in the surrounding areas. Get in touch with us wherever you are based and we will do our best to assist.

In order to tune your piano, our technician will need to remove the top part of the case. We therefore ask that you clear all items from the top of the piano before the technician arrives.

Our technicians are very respectful of the spaces in which they work, whether it be your home or a concert hall. The technician attending your home will work in a tidy and careful manner. We do ask that the environment is as quiet as possible as this assists the technicians greatly in their work.

Please give us a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you have to cancel the appointment. Otherwise, the basic tuning will be charged.

Our technicians can accept cash payment or you can pay by card. We are unable to accept cheques unfortunately.

We specialise in acoustic pianos, including those with silent systems and other digital adaptions. We do not service digital pianos but can often point you in the right direction if you drop us a line.
